At Clínica Terrace by Dr Mara Marques we have Dr Ana Sofia Coutinho, a Psychiatrist with an Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra and a specific Internship in Psychiatry from the Hospital Centre of Vila Nova de Gaia and Espinho. She is currently a hospital assistant in Psychiatry at the Centro Hospitalar do Oeste.

His curricular training also includes:
Training in Morenian Psychodrama Direction, by the Portuguese Society of Psychodrama, and in Interpersonal Psychotherapy, by the Academy of Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
Founding member (secretary) and member of the Personality Disorders Section of the Portuguese Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health.
Founding member (psychiatrist in the multidisciplinary assessment team) of the Obesity Surgical Treatment Unit at the Tâmega e Sousa Hospital Centre. Curricular internship at the National Reference Unit for Eating Disorders at the Centro Hospitalar Universitário de São João, in Porto.

Preferred areas of curricular development: mood and anxiety disorders, personality disorders, psychosomatic disorders (chronic pain, gastrointestinal syndromes, headaches, etc.) and eating disorders (highlighting experience in treating bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder).
