Paediatrics is the medical specialty dedicated to monitoring the growth and development of children and adolescents, from birth to 18 years of age.

• Child health monitoring appointments cover the main health promotion topics, such as immunisations (vaccines), nutrition, sleep, accident prevention and development promotion;
• Parents’ doubts are also answered, recognising that this is a period of change and constant adaptation for the family;
• Finally, paediatrics is also responsible for the timely diagnosis and correct guidance/treatment of childhood and adolescent pathologies.
