Clínica Terrace by Dr Mara Marques offers a prescription renewal service to ensure that our patients have continuous access to their regular medication in a simple and safe way.
Renewal can be requested directly, without the need for additional documentation, as long as they have had an appointment at the clinic in the last 6 months.
Previous medical prescriptions must be presented for clinical assessment.

Indicate the medicines required and send the documentation, if applicable;
Pay for the service by IBAN or in person at the clinic;
Our team will deal with your request as soon as possible.
Renewal will be for a maximum period of 6 months, or for a shorter period, depending on the clinical decision.
The request does not guarantee the prescription of the medication in the quantities desired by the user, which is subject to the assessment of the doctor in charge.
Medical practice follows the principles established by the Code of Ethics of the Portuguese Medical Association, namely Article 7:
Article 7 – Professional Exemption and Freedom
1 – The doctor should only make decisions dictated by science and his conscience.
2 – The doctor has the freedom to choose the means of diagnosis and therapy, but should refrain from unnecessarily prescribing expensive examinations or treatments, or from performing superfluous medical acts.
