Botulinum Toxin is a purified natural protein whose purpose is to block the neuromuscular junction, causing temporary relaxation of the treated facial muscles and, as a result, smoothing the skin.
With this treatment it is possible to have a relaxed face without losing natural expressiveness or facial harmony.
Botulinum Toxin acts on the muscle, helping to prevent wrinkles from forming when we make certain movements (dynamic wrinkles). Mimic wrinkles form at a specific point with each muscle contraction. The main areas of the face where it can be used are the frontal region (forehead), the glabella (between the eyebrows) and the periorbital region (“crows feet”).
