With a Master’s degree in Medicine from NOVA Medical School (2014-2020), Dr. Ricardo Carvalho is currently part of the specific training program in Cardiology at the prestigious Hospital de Santa Marta – ULS São José, a national reference unit in the treatment of complex cardiovascular diseases. This experience allows him to deal with demanding clinical cases on a daily basis, developing advanced skills in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of a wide range of cardiac pathologies.

In addition to his hospital practice, Dr. Ricardo Carvalho plays an active role in medical training as a guest assistant in the Physiopathology I and II courses of the Integrated Master’s Degree in Medicine at NOVA Medical School. His contribution to university teaching reinforces his solid scientific foundation and keeps him up to date on the latest evidence and advances in the field of Cardiology.

His career is further enriched by certifications from the European Society of Cardiology in Heart Failure and Transthoracic Echocardiography, fundamental areas for a comprehensive and modern approach to cardiovascular health. This specialization allows him to offer his patients accurate assessments and differentiated care, tailored to each individual’s needs.
