At Clínica Terrace by Dr. Mara Marques, we are proud to have Dr. Rita Vieira de Carvalho, a specialist in Pediatrics, whose academic and professional journey has been dedicated to children’s health care.

Graduated from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar at the University of Porto, she completed her Common Year Internship at the Coimbra Hospital Center and specialized in Pediatrics at the Prof. Doutor Fernando Fonseca Hospital. She currently works as a Pediatrics Hospital Assistant in the Neonatology Department at ULS Coimbra.

Her additional training reflects a strong interest in pediatric nutrition, having completed a Postgraduate Degree in Pediatric Nutrition at the Institute of Health Sciences of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the Post Graduate Program in Pediatric Nutrition at the Boston University School of Medicine. Moreover, she participated in the Young Medical Leaders Program at Católica Lisbon Business and Economics, enhancing her expertise in health management and innovation.

With active participation in multiple medical pediatrics training programs and several publications in national and international journals, Dr. Rita is committed to continuous learning, ensuring an up-to-date approach based on the best scientific evidence.
